Basis Transport is fully dedicated to furniture distribution.

From Waalwijk (Noord-Brabant, the Netherlands), we provide furniture transport services to multiple international destinations based on groupage. Our client base consists of domestic and international furniture manufacturers and wholesale establishments from Singapore, Malaysia, China, Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, Belgium and – naturally – the Netherlands, to name but a few.

The larger part of our vehicle fleet is equipped with demountable containers to maximise efficiency. These containers can be fitted with double floors if required. To speed up the process and increase the convenience for our clients, these containers can either be loaded at our distribution centre or at the client’s location.

Apart from box lorries which are specifically designed for furniture transport we also use tautliners to improve flexibility and to allow ourselves to transport goods other than furniture.

Our distribution centre is located near major road haulage and water freight routes in the vicinity of a container transfer station. This location offers many opportunities with regard to the transportation of goods, which is why we supply barge freight and rail freight services on a daily basis.

To complete our range of services we have included additional options such as warehousing, cross-docking and various administrative services including fiscal representation.
